In the field of public law, WMWP has specialised on gaming law, hospitals law, data protection law, energy law and trade law. WMWP represents its clients in these matters before public authorities, administrative courts and the public law courts of justice (constitutional court and administrative high court).

- Gaming law:
Advising on general questions related to gaming law, assessment of the envisaged distribution of commercials against the background of gaming law, representation before public authorities in case of infringements of gaming law provisions
- Hospitals law:
Advising on legal questions relating to the licensing of group practices and the financing of hospitals (coverage of operational deficits)
- Data protection law:
Providing legal support in notification and/or approval procedures, representation in proceedings before the Austrian Data Protection Authority, advising on general questions related to data protection law, drafting of consent declarations pursuant to the provisions of the Austrian Law on Data Protection.
- Energy law:
Advising public utility companies, legal preparation and execution of regulatory measures (e-control matters, appropriateness of energy prices, energy price calculation, Law on green electricity)
- Trade law:
Providing legal support with trade applications, representation before the Austrian trade Law authorities
